Oil prices rose on Thursday, extending gains from its previous session, as the market shifted to focus on supply turmoil, while concerns about demand eased after a sharp drop in new cases of the new Corona virus at the epicenter .

Brent crude futures rose 14 cents, or 0.2 %, to $ 59.26 a barrel by 5.05 am GMT, after rising to $ 59.71 earlier today . The international index rose 2.4 % on Wednesday .
