The global death toll from the new Coruna virus has crossed the 4,000 mark, according to AFP, with 17 new deaths recorded in China.
The death toll reached 4,011 deaths from the virus, which has become widespread in more than 100 countries and infected nearly 110,000 people.
The spread of the virus has disrupted the transportation sectors in the world and caused the cancellation of all occasions from conferences to sports, but in China the number of new daily infections has decreased steadily in recent weeks, indicating that unprecedented measures to close cities, which the government followed are paying off.
